International Organization Donates Glasses to a Girl From Sacatepéquez

Vision Rescue International donated a pair of glasses to a girl from Sacatepéquez. The Teacher Development Program of the Departmental Education Directorate of Sacatepéquez managed the donation of a pair of glasses through the organization Vision Rescue International of the United States of America. The Departmental Director of Education of Sacatepéquez, Licenciado Fernando Rodríguez, in company with Mr. Gordon Flattum, Director of Vision Rescue International, made the delivery of the glasses to the girl, Karen Estefania Tepaz Coroy. With the commitment to give better vision to children of school age, the organization Vision Rescue International decided to give assistance to Karen Estefania Tepaz Coroy, student of the Official School of Girls Leonor Rosales, Widow of Ramirez, municipality of Santa María de Jesús. Mrs. María Rosa Coroy, mother of the family was thankful for this gesture and indicated, "One day they called me from school to tell me that my daughter could not read from afar, and because of my financial situation I could not help her". Mr. Fernando Rodriguez, also thanked Mr. Flattum for his collaboration and intention to provide vision impaired children with glasses.
